Circle of Friends Online

Who We Are

Circle of Friends is an all-day Saturday meeting for teens and adults, ages 12 and up, who have Down syndrome or other intellectual or developmental disabilities. The group meets one Saturday per month in Nashville, either in Goodpasture Hall in Westminster Presbyterian Church or at a fun location in the surrounding community. Meetings provide opportunities for education, socialization and creativity in a fun and safe environment. Activities often include arts and crafts, service projects, yoga, Tae Kwon Do, and more.

Participants at Circle of Friends get a chance to work on life skills and develop a social network, while caregivers get a chance to catch up on errands or give attention to other family members.

Circle of Friends usually doesn't meet during the summer months. We usually meet from 9:00am - 2:00pm There is a $10 activity fee for Circle of Friends and participants should bring a sack lunch. Advance registration is required no later than Thursday before the meeting.  For a registration form, click here.
