Self-Advocate of the Year
2026 Self-Advocate of the Year: Calli Jo Davis
Calli Jo graduated from Lebanon High School in 2023, where she was a cheerleader all four years. She is currently a junior at Cumberland University's Transition Academy where she is learning valuable life and job skills to prepare for her future. In December of 2022, she was inspired by her dog Jax to start a dog treat business, and now sells them in multiple retail stores and craft fairs. Recently she started making and selling jewelry as well. Eventually, Calli Jo would like her businesses to employ other individuals with intellectual disabilities. In addition to all of this, Calli participates in Special Olympics for both cheering and bowling.
