Down Syndrome Awareness License Plate
In 2017, DSAMT advocated for the TN state legislature to pass a bill, authorizing a Down syndrome awareness license plate, and now they are available!
The Down syndrome license plate is ONLY $35 more each year than what you normally pay the DMV!
Half the money of each purchase will go to DSAMT and be used for state-wide advocacy efforts and our Sunshine Program, which helps families whose loved one with Down syndrome is in the hospital or is in a time of crisis. It also allows us to continue to provide the handmade quilts to all the DSAs in TN for their new babies. So the funds will benefit individuals with DS across the state.
The license plate is a great way to spread awareness about Down syndrome. Plus, it might just help you meet another family that you don’t know. Visit your local DMV to get yours!
