When you help DSAMT, you’re not just changing the life of one individual or even just changing the lives of those with Down syndrome. You’re helping the entire Middle Tennessee community.
We support inclusion and acceptance in our community, schools, churches, the workforce - everywhere! We bring value, and help build a better community for everyone. We help the community better understand the extraordinary gifts that those with "something extra" bring to our lives and to our communities, and, in doing so, we improve the lives of everyone.
DSAMT trains educators, providing new tools they might not otherwise have access to. We help physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners provide better care to their patients and better understand their needs and those of their families. We help businesses improve diversity in employment and improve their accessibility.
Improving the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families enriches the entire community. We’re glad you’re here to help.
