Our two largest meet-ups are in coordination with our new and expecting parent baby shower to welcome new and expecting fathers and grandfathers. In 2023, these will be held on Saturdays February 18, 2023 and August 19, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at UPDATED LOCATION CP Between the Lakes (4136 N Mt Juliet Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122) RSVP separately, please.
We especially invite all our new & expecting Dads & Grandfathers of individuals with Down syndrome to this meeting to welcome them and celebrate their new babies, while the moms enjoy our Baby Shower just a few blocks away at NEW LOCATION: Victory Baptist Church (1777 Tate Lane, Door 5, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122)
Children are welcome at Cinco De Mayo, but we will have volunteers to assist with babysitting at the DSAMT Baby Shower at the DSAMT office. If you are interested in childcare, PLEASE notify Tanya Chavez Tanya@somethingextra.org at least a couple days in advance to ensure we have enough volunteers.
