How can Tennesseans Affect Change at the National Level?

DSAMT and members of its staff are working for you at the National level to advocate for important legislation that can empower those with Down syndrome to lead meaningful, included lives, and we need your help!

Ask Your Members of Congress to join the Congressional Task Force on Down Syndrome! NDSS, the Global Down Syndrome Foundation (GLOBAL) and the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) support the efforts of this group of lawmakers dedicated to advancing legislation that benefits the Down syndrome community.

Down Syndrome Advocacy Conference April 17-19, 2023

This two-day event (with optional pre-conference learning sessions on April 17) will bring our community together to advocate for legislative priorities that impact the Down syndrome community. NDSS and its Advocacy Partners, the National Down Syndrome Congress, and the Global Down Syndrome Foundation are collaborating on this year's event.

National Down Syndrome Advocacy Coalition (NDSAC)

NDSAC is a member service of the National Down Syndrome Congress (“NDSC”). NDSAC is a grassroots advocacy service that is designed to educate individuals with Down syndrome, their family members, and other allies about policy issues and give them the advocacy tools and techniques they need to effectively engage with their legislators to advocate for change.
